None of us could have ever predicted that Samsung would try to sue Apple because its new iPhone 5…. Cough* cough*. They sure did. It appears Samsung is still a tad bit mad that they owe Apple over $1 billion.
Samsung Electronics said on Tuesday that it filed a new lawsuit against Apple Inc in a U.S. court, contending the iPhone 5 infringed on Samsung’s patents.
In a statement, Samsung said: “…we have little choice but to take the steps necessary to protect our innovations and intellectual property rights.”
My favorite part was the “…we have little choice but to take the steps necessary to protect our innovations and intellectual property rights.” Its like a bunch of teenagers going against a professional adult.
Lets face it, every time any of these two companies do anything. They will sue each other. Surprise?

App review and gameplay over iBlast Moki 2 for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The application costs 0.99 as of now because, it is on sale. There is also an app called iBlast Moki 2 HD that costs a bit more and I have no noticed a difference between the two. I think that the app is a fun game and I love that I am able to make my own levels and share then with others. Thank you for watching. Apple recently released its 128 MB iOS 5 Beta 5 to Apple iOS developers. The update is OTA (Over The Air) Xcode and iTunes have been released with an update as well. Unfortunately, the upgrade takes a hard reset for your iOS devices. Below is how to do so.
“To install iOS 5 beta 5 using over the air software update, you must first erase all content and settings on your device by choosing Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. Over the air software update can be initiated on devices running iOS 5 beta 3 and later by choosing Settings > General > Software Update.”
Ever sense OTA updates came to the iOS 5 betas people who have used the pass are not able to actually update there device. This is a new awesome feature Apple has made for iOS users. Allowing them to update there iOS device without having to plug it into a computer. If your device is registered under an Apple iOS developer account you will be able to update your OS.
“Starting October 1, smartphone customers with unlimited data plans may experience reduced speeds once their usage in a billing cycle reaches the level that puts them among the top 5 percent of heaviest data users. These customers can still use unlimited data and their speeds will be restored with the start of the next billing cycle. Before you are affected, we will provide multiple notices, including a grace period.”
AT&T says that this will not effect all smart phone users running on there network. Only the top 5% of users will be effected. If you are effected by this change it may be because you are a video or music streamer that does that all through there network on the unlimited data plan. The top 5% are said to be using up to 12x more data then the average smartphone customer on there unlimited plan. Starting on October 1st the unlimited customers may experience reduced speeds if they reach into the top 5% of there data list. All users who do not get to that point should not be effected by this. If you are someone who does use allot of data unfortunately you may have to hold back on your music and video streaming a bit.
This is AT&T’s first step to control the need for large amounts of data. Many wireless companies are doing this as well because, people who have the unlimited plan truly do need the unlimited plan. It will still be unlimited but, if you hit the top 5% of data users they may very well make it allot slower for you.
The iPhone 5 according to the China Times is set to release in the second week of September with 4 million units ready to sell. Not only does China Times say that the iPhone 5 is scheduled to be released the second week of September. They also are reporting that the iPad 3 has a part shortage and will be released late sometime around Thanks Giving.
China Times does not exactly have the greatest record when it comes time to reporting things correctly but, China Times is also near the manufacturers of allot of the Apple devices and parts. Do keep in mind we have heard many dates and rumors about when the iPad 3 or iPhone 5 will or may be released.
I personally am shooting for sometime this September. That seems like the most reasonable date for the iPhone to come out. I am not so sure about the iPad 3 though or if there will even be an iPad 3. What do you think?
